OmniSync values its positive relationship with the U.S. Air Force. Our mission as a company, as stated on our website, is to “equip the next generation of innovators & pioneers with an online ecosystem of knowledge, capital, and human resources to help them realize their vision, accomplish their goals, and create a better world.” We do so by using a combination of AI/NLP powered innovation search tools, grant/contract application process automation software, and expert-driven support systems that have allowed us to simplify and streamline the finding and funding of the country’s best innovations. Our flagship product, TurboSBIR, is used by a wide variety of startups who wish to discover and apply for Small Business Innovation Research grants (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer grant/contract (STTR) to fund their innovation. You can explore more of what we do at https://www.turbosbir.com/ and https://www.omnisync.io/.
We have been privileged to work closely with AFWERX after first being awarded two Phase I SBIR/STTR contracts. We have always been passionate about the goals of the AFWERX SBIR program. According to the AFWERX website the program, “...connects innovators across government, industry and academia through collaboration with our nation’s top subject-matter experts.” Since our first collaboration with the program, we have been exploring ways to develop innovative technologies that can effectively support those in service. In the middle of 2022, we were awarded our second SBIR Phase II by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and AFWERX. This award will allow us to support the 39th CONS by developing and providing artificial intelligence-powered workflow automation software to streamline a part of the complex acquisition process.
Our CEO, Dr. Rupak Doshi, when asked about the opportunity said, "We pride ourselves on developing cutting-edge innovations and are thrilled to continue our work to support the US Air Force. Contracting processes can be quite repetitive and tedious. We are utilizing our experience in building commercial software that simplifies complex processes to help speed up these repetitive tasks and save precious time for the warfighter". This developing technology will allow us to help bridge the gap between the Air Force and the millions of small businesses that support the force in a simple and effective manner, by eliminating the extraneous bureaucratic process the Air Force and small businesses have to endure.
According to Staff Sgt. John Cone, a contract administrator assigned to the 39th CONS Base Infrastructure Flight, “These relationships with small and large businesses are essential; our military runs on them. The more we can leverage these relationships to improve our systems and arm us to make better decisions, the better we can accomplish the mission.”
OmniSync is enthusiastic about this opportunity and is looking forward to all of the ways we can support the U.S. Air Force and U.S. small businesses in the future.
